Donating to Bolder Languages can make a big difference for students in the Boulder/Denver area. Our instructors have helped dozens of struggling students raise their grades to A's and B's in the foreign languages that they are studying. This helps raise their confidence along with their GPA, and will help them eventually get into the college of their choice. On top of that, we make it fun for students to learn, and most continue to study with us during their summer breaks. These days, knowing a second language is one of the most important skills someone can have and will lead to better education, better jobs, and a much more fulfilling life.

Why should we care?

Public and private schools throughout the Front Range now require at least one year of a foreign language. We see very smart students with high GPA's struggle with this, as classes are overcrowded making it impossible for students to get the individual attention they need. Plus, with classes this big, it can be intimidating for students to ask questions. Private instruction and tutoring is the best way for students to not only increase their grades, but to have fun and develop a genuine interest the new language.

Why Bolder Languages?

Traditional tutoring agencies are expensive and mediocre. They charge at least $50 an hour and can make the learning experience just as dull as the classroom. Our instructors will work for half that and make learning fun, throwing in interesting facts about the country and culture of choice. Most importantly, they care about seeing their students improve, and go the extra mile to do so.

What do we get for our donations?

• $30 will get 1 hour of tutoring for someone that can't otherwise afford it.
• $500 will get 1 hour a week for an entire semester and can ensure a passing grade.
• $1,000 will get 2 hours of tutoring a week and a high letter grade in the class.
